Empowering Collegiate Leaders to Make a Difference 365 Days of the Year
Lead 365 is a national conference with a goal of developing collegiate leadership. This year’s conference with be held at Disney World’s Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, FL from March 12-14, 2015 and again, November 5-7, 2015.
This event is perfect for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members. The programming is innovative, professional and allows for individuals to create their personalized leadership experience with 20 hours of instruction, 28 different breakout sessions and 20 speakers and practitioners.

1. Stand Up or Sit Down – Effective Public Speaking
Being a more effective presenter – One of the greatest differences between effective and ineffective speakers is how good or bad they believe themselves to be! This highly engaging session will offer practical tips on how to effectively engage, entertain, and educate your audiences through effective presentation skills and strategies.
2. Mess with Me? Getting Your Life Back Under Control
Organizational skills – Having trouble leading others because you can’t lead yourself? Wondering why you aren’t being taken seriously because you consistently arrive late and have to leave early? Tapping on the essentials of self-management, this session will offer strategies on how to avoid procrastination, manage your time and set priorities.
3. The Calm, Cool and Controlled Leader – Management Conflict
Managing Conflict – Shut Up! No, You Shut Up! If this sounds like your last leadership interaction, it’s time to examine what you are bringing to the party. People are always going to be difficult, therefore the challenge to your leadership is learning how to communicate through difficult situations and with difficult personalities. This session offers strategies for improving your interpersonal skills of conflict management.
